I am a first-generation, Afro-Mexican American born and raised in Burnsville, Minnesota. In the spring of 2025, I graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in Journalism and Communications.

I am fluent in Spanish and intermediate in American Sign Language.

I’m your go-to for live music concerts, bracelet making, baking and spending time outside hammocking.

I have a passion for storytelling and active listening. I enjoy getting to meet new people and trying opportunities that are out of my comfort zone.

I am naturally curious and not afraid to ask a lot of questions.

I want to make the world a better place, where people feel included and understood. I’ll start in the newsroom.
